How to Order Custom Makeup Bags: A Step-by-Step Guide
Ordering custom makeup bags is easier when you know what the factory needs from you and what you should expect back. This guide walks through the process we use at O'laybag, from your first message to shipment.
What to prepare before you ask for a quote
- Style: a reference photo, a sketch, or a style from our makeup bag catalog.
- Quantity: pieces per design. Our default MOQ is 100 pcs per design, including your logo.
- Size and material: approximate dimensions and the fabric you have in mind. See materials compared if you are still choosing.
- Logo: artwork file and the method you prefer. See logo options.
- Packaging and destination: how the bags should be packed and where they are going.
- Target price and timing: a rough budget and the date you need the goods.
You do not need all of this on day one. A photo and a quantity are enough to start.
Step 1: Send your requirements
Use the quote page to send your details and reference files, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with questions about anything that affects the construction or the price, such as lining, zipper type or packaging.
Step 2: Confirm the specification and the sample
We make a pre-production sample in your material, color and logo so you can approve the real thing before bulk production. Samples take 5–7 days.
Step 3: Bulk production
Once the sample is approved, sewing, inspection and packing run on our own production line with QC checks along the way.

Step 4: Shipping
Goods ship from Ningbo Port. About 70% of our orders go to Western Europe and 30% to North America. Tell us your destination early so we can plan packing and documents together.
How to avoid delays
- Send logos as vector files (AI, PDF or EPS) where you can, and say which colors must match.
- Confirm packaging before bulk production starts, not after.
- Approve the sample in writing and note any changes in one message.
- If you sell in a regulated market, tell us up front so we can talk about the material and any test reports you need.
